This Is What Happens When Nature Leads The Way.
After a week on retreat in Gros Morne, you'll leave with:
- A quieter mind after spending a week immersed in nature instead of notifications.
- Memories you'll never forget, from hiking Gros Morne's iconic landscapes to standing atop the ancient Tablelands.
- Meaningful connections with a small group of people who quickly stop feeling like strangers.
- A deeper appreciation for nature through experiences like Forest Therapy, guided ceremonies, and slow moments by the water.
- A true taste of Newfoundland, from locally sourced meals to the warmth of East Coast hospitality.
- A fresh perspective that often begins with one simple thing: finally giving yourself permission to slow down.
Is This Retreat Right For You?
Whether you're seeking adventure, clarity, or simply a chance to slow down, this retreat is designed for people who know it's time to step away from everyday life and experience something different.
You don't need to be an experienced hiker or yogi—just someone who's open to exploring, connecting, and embracing everything Gros Morne has to offer.
A Transform Gros Morne Retreat Was Built For You If:
✓ You've been carrying the weight of making a big decision and know a change of scenery might be exactly what you need to gain a fresh perspective.
✓ Life has felt like one long to-do list lately, and you're craving a week where you don't have to be "on" for anyone else.
✓ You've always dreamed of visiting Newfoundland, and want to experience Gros Morne with someone who's called this incredible place home for over a decade.
✓ You love meaningful travel and would rather come home with unforgettable experiences than another checklist of tourist attractions.
✓ You're craving genuine connection with like-minded people who value nature, curiosity, and living life a little more intentionally.
✓ You want to experience something you'll still be talking about years from now, from waterfall ceremonies and forest therapy to screaming into 500-million-year-old mountains.
✓ You're ready to slow down, breathe deeply, and spend a week where mountains, ocean, and nature set the pace instead of your calendar.

"I knew Gros Morne would be a beautiful place, but I didn't realize how much it would change me as a person. Spending a week immersing myself in the slower pace of life, spending time with salt-of-the-earth people, and shouting from the mountain top healed years of nervous system overload from my body. See you next year Tara!"

Meet Your Host: Tara

The Best Journeys Often Begin With One Leap Of Faith.
After exploring more than 30 countries, Tara thought she'd seen some of the world's most incredible places. But it wasn't until she visited Gros Morne National Park (while living the fast-paced life in Toronto) that everything changed.
She fell in love with the mountains, the coastline, and the slower rhythm of life almost instantly. What started as a vacation became something much bigger. Trusting her instincts, Tara packed up her life, moved to Newfoundland, and has never looked back.
Today, she's a certified hiking guide, yoga teacher, and experienced hospitality professional who has spent years helping others discover the same magic that inspired her to call Gros Morne home. Through Transform Gros Morne, she thoughtfully blends movement, nature, local culture, and meaningful experiences into retreats that invite guests to slow down, reconnect with what matters, and experience this extraordinary place in a way few visitors ever do.
When she's not hosting retreats, you'll likely find Tara hiking Gros Morne's trails with her two huskies, enjoying a board game with friends, or rolling out her yoga mat on a mountain summit.
